pulling…
at the end of a
journey for a red star
hibiscus, the center
of gravity is no
joke โ yet unlike
collapsing stars,
its stellar remnants
leave a black
hole at the end
of the driveway
every time

this photo of my mom’s red star hibiscus at the end of her driveway was taken last October, nearing the end of blooming season (June to October). here it is during its heyday.
Stunning!
thank you so much – glad it worked.
beautiful ๐
thank you so much!
you’re welcome ๐
I like the way it see-saws between the macro and micro, the stellar and the mundane. And after you read the caption, you can feel the red star being pulled away from you in the photo.

Amazing picture. I really like the way you have linked it to a star ending in a black hole. ๐
