we are born
unequal – the young
man being verbally
abused by his
mother on the
train is not the
fourteen-year-old
girl being
intimately
questioned on the
sidewalk by her
social worker is not
the sweetheart in her
mother’s doting
arms is not the
college-bound
boy learning to be
brave on his
own – we are
born unequal,
and even then,
none of it
is for certain
.

Beautiful, that’s why deserved my nomination 🙂
thank you – it reminds me of some painting…
Which one if I may ask?
oh, not a particular painting…it just reminded me of a painting (smile), or what a painting could look like.
Great shot! Thanks!
thank you for dropping by!
wonderful image and words, yes we live in unequal situations and circumstances, but we are all alive, and we are all the one Life 🙂
thank you for the read! (smile)
The photo has such clarity. The purples just pops out at you.
Incredibly breathtaking. Very well done …!!!!
thank you, Isadora. i lowered the exposure – as it was pretty sunny at around 1 PM – to get this effect.
