there is much about
a house that isn’t
the house –
sunlight painting
a still life in
recent memory,
a garden cozying up
around the front
porch like children
returning home,
the spindly shadow
of magnolia branches
climbing the stairs,
you lying down in
the middle of an
empty bedroom,
ready to call it
your own
.

lovely!
thank you, Lois!!
Your beautiful words match the beauty of the photo.
thank you so much, Janet!
What a beautiful old home. I have always loved big porches with gingerbread railings.
me, too! thank you!!
You captured the sunlight so perfectly, making the house even more beautiful. Love this, wonderful.
thank you! it was a lucky capture from the passenger’s side! (smile)
Your words are so full of hope… great photo and post.
thank you, Maggie!! have you ever ran into a new house and searched for the bedroom to call your own? (smile)
Great golden light you captured with the shadows. All colours really complement and attract the eye.
thank you, Allan! i’ve enjoyed your post on hope as well! cheers, y
Just beautiful…hope is where our heart is…as long as we believe, that we have faith and love….we can do anything. Wonderful photo. Thanks.

thank you!! wow, i’m really impressed by your d.i.y calendar project. do you have a photo of the finished calendar? or is it more like a calendar notebook?
thanks ! it’s some kind of pocket diary, it was a first try and we made about 55 copies and gave them away for donation.
you can see photos of the finished calendar from front to back here: http://xartpunkartx.wordpress.com/2012/02/03/zwei-null-eins-zwei-cooperation-project-apu-sistren/
I didn’t take photographs of the whole calendar, because the rest looks like a “normal” pocket diary, you know…
😉
oh, i did browse those photos as well, but it wasn’t a “calendar,” so i thought it was another project! i got it now – a pocket diary! cheers, y
