  1. we rounded the corner
    at sunset, struck
    by the immediate
    pleasure of a
    garden of red
    and yellow
    marking flags
    planted in the corner
    of your lawn
    with the boldness
    of tulips
    and the assertion
    of home

  2. Love the color in the photograph. Such a contrast of the beauty of nature against the pails and table and building. I like the poem because you address this thing about home improvements. Very cool, “Y”.

    • thank you! we did round a corner and see red and yellow marking flags in a neighbor’s yard, which for a second, looked like tulips to me – especially in the glare of the sun (smile). i didn’t get to catch a photo, though – but when i got home, i wrote and then found this to compliment! thank you, again.
