I went fishing today before the storm an…. uh, You were not really writing about fish, right?
where are you? where was the storm?
extreme southwest missouri it passed about right over head from me. Some pingpong sized hail, and bit of wind, three inches of rain, maybe two hours. All is well, and I saved the desk!
was it floating away?
Just some erosion. This is very hilly country and the water runs straight into Table Rock lake, which lies about four hundred feet from where I am sitting.

I am sitting on the western end just outside Arkansas. The lake here looks like a mid sized river, maybe 600 feet across. Yes the lake is beautiful! It draws several million tourists every year.
