Enjoying the juxtaposition of old and new architecture 🙂
thank you! that’s a lot of new york city for you. this is Delmonico’s, building built in 1891.
Stunning shot! Looks like a photo from 1891!! (except for the air conditioners etc!
…)
thank you for dropping by, Dr. R!
they didn’t waste space back in those days…and eye-catching is always good… there’s a building shaped like that in Winter Haven, FL
(smile) love it!
Great Shot….
thank you, again!!
Really nice! Love it.
thank you so much!!
This is very nice. I like the tone and the textures on top of the image.
this was another mobile shot – so i’m really glad it worked (smile). thank you.
This is immensely powerful art. It keeps talking to me. Wonderful!
wow, what a lovely compliment! thank you, Carl.
Very nice. How’d ya do it, if you don’t mind me asking? Not to technical, just curious.
hi, Shawn. thank you. i started posting photos from my mobile phone for the first time last month. you can usually tell because i have to “work” on them, and i’m traditionally more of a purist, preferring not to do much post-. this is actually the sixth photo on my entire photo/writing blog that was taken by the mobile. with this shot, i used the mobile phone camera and snapseed (my favorite go-to app). within snapseed, i adjusted the photo’s brightness, texture, saturation, and added some “grunge,” mostly noticeable around the edges. hope that wasn’t “too technical” (smile). thank you for asking, y
