    and you may want to
    use as little wine as
    possible – they let
    go so naturally

  2. Before i became a vegetarian I loved mussels. Great photo

    • my mom often draws a distinction between killing in the moment to serve your appetite and killing a hundred miles away, two days ago, to serve up an appetite. i guess we all draw the line somewhere. i’ve never been really into mussels – just the occasional frozen ones in a seafood mix for a good noodle soup (smile).
