if there were a time
to melt down, i would
gladly
seize the last
three-hundred-and-
seventy-two
days, bring them
to a simmering
boil, cool and mold
them into a
commemorative
coin and give it
away to someone
who collects pain.
if there were a time
to melt down, i would
not give it away
.

You have shared the melted coin… even as we’ve made our own.
thank you, Leslie.
