ninety-nine percent of
looking
back
is to wipe the
dust from the way
you remembered it.
the greater the
distance, the more
everyone seems to
glitter. even the
worst of old
emotions spins in the
new breeze, briefly
catching the
sunlight like a shiny
pinwheel planted
in the garden
to frighten your
recollection
.

wiping the dust
hmm
I’m not sure about that–but–
Oh that bird on the head—did you inted to make a ‘funny’ ??? or is this an accidentaly joke?
i thought it was a funny shot.
I think George is actually using his balancing tactics to preserve the bird on the head just for you to snap this shot, “Y”. Lovely poem and love the idea of catching sunlight.
thank you so much, Leslie!
amazing words that ring true
