  1. if the first woman came
    from man’s rib, the next
    came from her
    mother’s, as all
    subsequent women
    have come. from an
    embrace the size of
    one enduring
    lullaby, we
    are double-dyed in her
    image, imprinted,
    impressed

  4. I love that, “double-dyed in her image”! I am writing this one down for my sisters, “Y”. It is beautiful and worthy of being passed around. I can’t believe how you can just roll these out day after day.

  5. thank you so much, Leslie! you are too sweet. some days are definitely more challenging than others – especially if i’m “too busy” to keep my antennae/receivers out and come home at the end of the day with no idea where to start (happens more often than should) (smile).

  6. i love that this was your picture of the day. i enjoy so much how meticulous you are pairing picture with title, descriptor, poem and background color.

    • didn’t you just love kaime’s mom’s potato (beet) salad? did you get a bite? as for the background color, for this theme, i cannot choose the color, it always selects a color from the photo to match. there was a Decemberish update on this theme that allows you to choose the color, but i haven’t made the switch. thank you for your compliments and encouragements! hope to see you soon! (smile)

  7. it was yummmyyyyy – yes i did get a bite. i got to meet her mom and son yesterday. they are so sweet. well the random color matching works! hope to see you soon too
