these memories rub
against each other
like marbles in a burlap
sack. you can leave
a hand inside to finger
the cool and seamless
illusion, but there
is no real comfort
nor grief
until you can bear
to pull one
out, to study
that embedded
Latticino core,
to explore with
intention
without swerving
.

Ms., I simply must say that your photography and poetry is a perfect fit!!! You are one of a kind and how you share with us what you see and feel when you snap that shot, is not only delightful but absolutely refreshing…
thank you, Brett, and here i was wondering if i should go out and find a bag of marbles (smile). thank you for your vote of confidence!
Oh my, no. No marbles. I always view your photography, first, and my first thought was what it must have been like for the architect of this building to put together all those windows of different shapes. The colors ranging from white thru shades of blue to violet. Your eye is brilliant and your heart “in tune”. I also like the idea of the perspective reaching upward to eternity.
thank you so much, Leslie – you always make me think even more! (smile)
A cool shot of epic proportions
thank you. and thank the architect!
