when your heart breaks,
sooner or later they will
have to call off the
mourners, put you six
feet under – as a matter
of self-preservation, there
is almost an immediate
threshold for grief
and sympathy, and it is
really up to you to
wake up and
ring the bell
when you are ready
to be dug up again

Oooh, that’s a nice poem. Very moving. I can’t get over how much snow you have. I was out shooting downtown today and it was +6 C. Not sure what that is in F. anymore, but probably close to 40. It was pretty sunny, no wind, and no snow whatsoever. Then I see this photo of yours and remember it’s still only February. Wow. If you check out my latest post you’ll see what the streets looked like today.
Hi Davey and Yi-Ching.
Like the contrast between the top and bottom halves of the window.
As for the poem–oh yeah–wondering about that ‘dug up’ concept myself of late.
