drowning…
WHOA. I like the heaviness of this whole thing (the thought, the trash, black and the sign, pavement, cigarette butts). You are good.
“dew and wine”…looks like beer cans to me (smile). thank you! just passing by – new york city is goooood!
if you didn’t look carefully it could be just another ‘notice’ sign, instead of anonymous poetry…
