  1. Great capture. Did the wall artist happen to sign this eye-catching and colorful piece???

  2. yes! see the tag, “Os Gemeos,” both in my wordpress tag section and also on the upper left-hand corner of the image, submarine (<– click link). i googled them and was delighted to learn that they are two Brazilian brothers, Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo, who have recently painted another wall on Bowery and Houston! (<– click link)

  3. Wow! Hey, have you considered writing and photographically documenting these brothers’ art?
    wow

  4. did you click on the New York Times link in the comment above? (smile)

  5. Yes, and that’s jus ONE article–If I were in your shoes I’d contact them myself and ask if you could document & write about their efforts over the long term–I mean really really write about their artistic process, development and their goals as they paint wall after wall—in other words, do a Jimmy Forsyth sort of visual docuemntation in depth–with interviews with the artists along their ways.
I am Serious. Think about it. LOL.

  6. I agree that this artwork and the artists are worth documenting on a continuing basis should you have the desire to do so. [It never hurts
to approach the artists and offer your skills.] Relationships are a good thing when it comes to the arts as all sub-specialties are totally interconnected by that essential need to create.

  7. A big thumbs up for street art! I looove it!

  8. two votes –me and planet agree–an omen, Y, an omen of good things

  9. wow, peer pressure…(grinning)
