history has twisted
the Ides of March
like a Rubik’s Cube –
we all know the
resolution, so
we have stopped
reflecting on it

I have a question for you- if I was going to look for a tiny apartment in Brooklyn- in a safe area..Where would you recommend? I love Park Slope but cannot afford it there I don’t think. Thoughts?
oh, dear. this week, i was just reading about how unaffordable Bushwick is getting: http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20130307/bushwick/abnormal-leap-hikes-bushwick-rents-by-nearly-20-percent-report-says. i hear that people are finding cheap apartments on the UES and in Harlem, still. you almost have to luck into it. and as for “safe” – every neighborhood can be safe…until it’s not – you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times. sorry i can’t be more helpful. the “affordable” apartment is quite elusive.
Is Harlem safe? I drive through it a lot – doesn’t seem so?
$2800.00 for two bedrooms!!! Oh my!
