Is that the side of a WWII plane? If so, is it an art installation somewhere, or a museum? Love those ladies painted in that style 🙂
yes, i do believe it’s the side of a plane. this is in the Floyd Bennett Field Hangar B, where the Historic Aviation Restoration Project volunteers are working to restore and preserve old planes. Floyd Bennett Field is the first municipal airport in NYC. they have regular visiting and volunteering hours: http://www.nps.gov/gate/supportyourpark/the-angels-of-harp.htm
