in that historic
district, on the steps
of west twenty-
eighth street, a lost
slipper with glittering
tendrils beckoned
to be carried home,
nourished, reassured,
cultivated, cooed over

Is this an Air plant ? Where can I get one please?
oh, my goodness – you must go to Noble Planta (<– link). i went down the entire west 28th street (flower district), went into 3-4 shops, and the last place was here, where i ended up purchasing my tillandsia from Ched Markovic. only because he was so engaging, lovely, and knowledgeable. read this article: http://themidtowngazette.com/2012/10/floral-traders-work-hard-to-remain-in-the-district/. yes, it's an air plant, and i didn't even know anything about it before i walked into Noble Planta. best of luck!
I AM GOING!!! Thank you soooo much!
AWESOME! tell Ched i said hello: “the asian girl who was worried that she might kill it – no maid!” (laugh) oh, might be easier to say “the one with the camera…” “with the guy who bought two succulents?” ha!
Stunning image and words.
thank you so much – i’m loving my tillandsia!
