   sorrow, an elaborate
   crane.

   symmetry to study
   each line, each
   road to abandonment.

   i

   corners to reveal
   the choreography
   of an ache.

   i am tempted
   to ball it up, to
   rub out the
   lament –

   but for now, i
   concentrate on
