Have been moving backwards through your blog, Y. (pretty picture, that, eh?).
Stopping here to comment. This is good. Subtle and lost on those who know not rudeimentery (it’s o.k.- I can spell) French. Perhaps a bit rankling to those who deify the “artiste’ ” (another plus, the way I regard titles). Previous photos catch your, and I mean the photographer by ‘your’, eye.
Assessment and arrangement of composition. Have you considered these elements?
Example; in this photo there are multiple shadows falling off the subject. Line shadows going in and out of subject. To what end? Of what value? The broken background- same questions.
None of this meant as uncaring criticism or advert for my stuff.
Tension and Import (Import is part of this photo’s strength) are two more aspects of shooting you may wish to examine.
Okay, that’s my 2cents. Please excuse if this is not the sort of comment y’all want to be reading. I tend to be honestly direct/let others be ‘politically correct’.
Ta,
Nick
