Wow, I love the contrasts in expressions here–one is stern, old, and waiting uncomfortably. The other people are standing around laughing, comfortable, and seemingly enjoying themselves. Yet they are sheltered from the world by the stand, giving it a different appearance, while the woman is out there, alone and bare.
Ok, I read way too much into art, but I like the picture a lot regardless 🙂
