details are crystal
clear, even if the
larger impressions have
blurred, disappeared
altogether –
somewhere in the
village, your fingers
were playing
with the gold-
tinged pages, and
soon, maybe the village
will disappear, but perhaps
the gold, perhaps your
fingers will be
a reminder
