there are a handful
of things about keeping
time that leaves
uncertainty –
springing forward,
falling back,
marking the
certainty
of your death
on two calendars.
if tonight’s moon
looks like the same
moon that took
you, give
us a sign that
time will move on
.

Stunningly beautiful, rich image today, poem so sad, so many things in your post to think about. I want that timepiece, want to feel the textured metal in my hand, want to touch that smooth green stone.
There are those sites that advertise creating a book from your blog. I would love to do mine, but it would be pretty expensive, and mostly for myself. Your blog, however, would be such a beautiful piece of work to publish – the images with the poetry. wow.
OM!!!
thank you so much for your beautiful compliment, Linda. i think it’ll delight you to know that those gold arms, hand, the robe – they’re a part of a golden buddha, holding those trinkets. i’ve actually just created a book with selections from the blog. let me know if you’re interested. how many pages do you think would be ideal? by the way, keep up your beautiful glass work! the pieces are so amazing!
Well composed & captured…
thank you, Surinder! glad you stopped by!
